Issuance at the Counter

  • Immediate issuance is possible for students who graduated in 1970 or later. For students who graduated in 1969 or earlier (including Kookhak College and Woosuk University graduates), it will take 10 to 20 minutes to issue certificates in Korean and 3 to 4 days to issue transcripts and certificates in English. Submit your requests in advance via phone or email in order to receive the certificates by a specified date.
  • To request certificate issuance on behalf of an applicant, identification is required for the representative as well as a copy of the applicant’s identification card with an attached power of attorney.

Automatic Document Issuance Machine

  • Documents can be issued by the Automatic Document Issuance machines in locations such as the B1 lobby of the Central Plaza, 1F lobby of the International Studies Hall, and Hana Square.
  • Payment can be made by mobile phone or account transfer, but public certification (or OPT) is required for account transfer payments.

Requests by Fax (View processing procedures)

  • If any problems with the online certificate printout or request should occur, please visit the nearest District Office or Community Service Center and submit your request. Certificates can be issued within 30 to 60 minutes via fax. (It may take longer for records of students who graduated in 1969 or earlier.)
  • To request certificate issuance on behalf of an applicant, identification is required for the representative as well as a copy of the applicant’s identification card with an attached power of attorney.
  • Request by Fax at the District Office/Community Service Center (government office)
  • Request submitted to the KU One-Stop Service Center via fax
  • Issued documents are sent to the District Office/Community Service Center (government office) via fax.

Requests by Post

  • Requests can be made at the nearest post office. The KU One-Stop Service Center will send the issued documents to the applicant’s address by post.
  • This service is only available for applicants. Representatives cannot make requests on behalf of an applicant

Certificate Issuance for Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants

  • Requests can be made in person, via fax or by post, and any fees will be waived.
  • Faculty members
    • Certificate of Employment or Career (Korean and English), Lecture Statements, Award Certificate(s) (Korean and English), Course Evaluation Statement
  • Teaching Assistants
    • Certificate of Employment or Career (Korean and English)
  • The College of Medicine affiliates shall submit the request form to the Medical Academic Affairs Team.

Important Notes

  • If you do not have a login ID
    • Click Single ID Request on the KUPID portal (http://portal.korea.ac.kr) to request a login ID.
    • Graduates in the class of 1975 or earlier shall contact the One-Stop Service Center (☎02-3290-1141~5, 02-3290-4090~2) and request a Single-ID for the KUPID portal after checking the school register.
  • Checking Grades (viewing only)
    • Use the following menu at the KU Portal 
      [Registration & Graduation > Grade Inquiries > Transcripts of Courses Completed]
  • Requests for the issuance of documents for study abroad can be made by post or at the One-Stop Service Center counter.
  • In case a photo is required for the school register, check whether a photo is registered before making the request.
